Newscast project

For my news cast project I have chosen to speak about fashion. I chose this topic because it is one of my favorite things and I it is something I could take about for hours and not get bored. I am writing on the new fashions for this year. While doing this report I have been learning things about it I have'nt known before. One of the most interesting things I have learned is how many different designers are out there and what each of there collection looks like.

Inspirational picture

I have chosen this picture because I have been raised to be a leader and I try to be the best I can be. This picture speaks for itself. I choose to take the path less followed and I'm willing to make decisions that help me progress in life, regardless of how dificult they may be. Sometimes being a leader can be lonley, though the rewards that come ahead are worth the price. Leadership takes discipline and a commitment to always trying to make the best choices in life.

Feelings toward my upcoming Report Card

I am looking forward to seeing my upcoming report card because I have worked very hard this grading period and I believe I deserve what I get. I don't think my parents are going to Report Card night because they are busy, but I wish they would because I would like to know what my teachers think of me and my behavior in class. I think my parents would be very proud of what my teachers have to say. I try my best in class and on my work. I think Peer Tutoring could be a good way to help improve students who are getting low grades, or to students who feel like it would help them keep their good grade up in a class if they are working on something hard.

Biggest life lesson

One big life lesson I learned is that know matter what it is for, always work hard for what you want and never take the easy way. An experiance I had was when I had a bad report card one year and that is when I got the wake up call that I need to actually try harder and create study habits. Then after that little wakeup call, I created some study habits and have had a better grades ever since.

podcast

This week in computers we have been working on a podcast of our favorite scary moive. Personaly I do not like scary movies at all so I don't have a favorite and I don't watch them much. When I was thinking of scary movi I have seen and was wanting to pick I picked The Grudge. To me it is one of the most scariest movies I've seen. I am doing well on my podcast so far. IO have my script typed out and all I need to do is record it. I am a little nervous about doing that because I don't want to mess up . 10 things I want to do in my lifetime

The number one thing I want to do is visit Paris because I have heard that it is absolutley beautiful and it reminds me of such a romantic place. The second thing I would want to do in my lifetime would have to be spending a whole day with the Jonas Brothers. They are by far my favorite band and they are absolute cuties. :) The third thing I want to do is fly in a hot air balloon. I think it would amazing to be up high, with the wind blowing fresh air, and seeing the world around me. The fourth thing I want to do is be on t.v. When I was younger I use to be in commercials but then my mom took me out of it because she didn't want to keep driving to Chicago and I would love to go back and start doing it again. When I am older I want to take over my dad's buisness in finance because you have a social life as well as working hard; that is my fifth thing I want to do in my lifetime. The sixth thing I want to do is go to Las Vegas again because when I went last year with my dad I had a blast. This time I want to go with my mom though because it is more fun to shop with her. Bungee jumping is the seventh thing I want to do. Everytime I see someone doing it I wish I could do it because it looks so fun. The eighth thing I want to do is to be able to do my splits all three ways. It sounds like a silly thing to do but it is something I want to accomplish. I can do my right splits but I would like to get the other two ways. My nineth thing I want to do is learn to play the piano. Right now I am too busy to learn but it just seems like such a peaceful instrument to learn. The last thing I want to do is to stay in Michael Jordan's house again. I stayed there with my family for a week a couple years ago in Mexico and i really enjoyed it. It was a once in a life time experiance but I would love to do it again.

Community Logo

Since we are not yet of age to vote for president, one of our assignments was to go to http://logopeoria.com/ and vote for our favorite logo that we would like our city to have. The logo I voted for was the logo that said Peoria in all capital letters, and at the bottm of it said est. 1825. The lettering is in between two lines. The picture is set in the far background and is a ligh maroon color that kind of looks like a brown. I like how it was 3-D look to it.
